Welcome Centralia, Kansas High School Alumni!

– UPDATE –

Due to growing concerns of COVID-19, the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Alumni Banquet. Next year we will recognize the honored classes for 2020 and 2021. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.

Please consider donating to the CHS Alumni Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship is funded almost entirely by donations received at the banquet. Your donation will go directly to the scholarships for the class of 2021. You can donate here.

CHS-Orginal-Building

A look back

Centralia schools have served our community for over 110 years! The original Centralia school building was built in 1906 and stood for 46 years. It was demolished in 1952 and was replaced in 1953.

“Though crude at first, these primitive seats of learning…
Here, the young people met in spelling schools, debating
societies and other wholesome amusements, and many
found ties of love and friendship and pleasant memories
brighten faces and lighten hearts at thoughts of those
“days gone by.””

-Ralph Tennal, History of Nemaha County, Kansas
